Vandaag speelde Paul Simon voor het laatst in Nederland. Ik ontkom dan niet aan terugkijken en -luisteren en vooral maar weer eens naar die legendarische plaat uit 1981. Daar springen aardig wat deuntjes uit, maar deze sprong vandaag niet geheel onverwacht het hoogst. In originele vorm misschien nog wat flauwtjes, maar live komt er na 2 minuten die saxsolo in, met nog een zwikje blazers om het af te maken. Diepe buiging voor mneer Simon, en bedankt voor al dit moois.
